Every man's life tells a story, but James Squire's would have filled a library. From chicken thief and convict, he later found success as the Governor's bodyguard, a publican, baker, butcher, money-lender and, ironically, local constable. But his greatest chapter was brewing.
James Squire Golden Ale has been brewed as a real quaffing beer. Fresh toasted grains of barley and wheat give it a rich orange-amber colour, while new season Amarillo hops provide a tropical/stone fruit aroma and restrained bitter finish. With a very approachable alcohol level, mild carbonation, firm head and a cracking dry finish, this is an ideal thirst-quenching session beer.
Food Pairing: Perfect with delicate seafood, crab cakes, fresh prawns, chicken or Caesar salad.
